1. The Lakes region has many summer camps.

3. New Hampshire has the shortest ocean coastline of  the states that have an ocean coast (approximately 18 miles) and the highest percentage of timberland area in the country.

5. It's the only state that doesn't require adults to wear seat belts in motor vehicles.

6. The ladybug is the official insect. The white birch is the official tree.
